Srinagar, December 03 (KNS) : Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today visited the National Conference Party Office at Nawa-i-Subh, Srinagar, where he held extensive interactions with party legislators and met a series of public delegations.
During the engagements, the delegations raised a broad spectrum of public concerns, including the progress of water supply schemes, augmentation of potable water sources, timber availability, and the preservation and protection of wetlands.
The Minister gave patient and focused hearing to the issues presented and issued immediate on-spot directives to the concerned officers to ensure their expeditious resolution.

Reiterating the Government’s steadfast commitment to public welfare, Rana underscored that the Omar Abdullah–led Government remains firmly devoted to enhancing public service delivery and fostering a responsive, transparent system of grievance redressal.
Prominent National Conference leaders who called on the Minister included Provincial President NC Kashmir, Mr. Showkat Mir, MLA Pampore, Mr. Hasnain Masoodi, besides the District Presidents of NC Budgam and Ganderbal.
The Minister is presently stationed at the Winter Secretariat, Srinagar, where he continues to oversee timely grievance redressal and ensure robust on-ground coordination with all stakeholders.(KNS)
