Srinagar, July 01 (KNS) : Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana, today chaired a meeting at the Civil Secretariat Srinagar to review the status of Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) projects in Poonch.
The meeting aimed to assess the progress of ongoing road projects and identify areas for improvement.
During the review, the directed the concerned authorities to expedite the progress of works and achieve set targets within the stipulated timelines.

The Minister stressed the importance of adhering to quality standards in the projects to ensure the development of durable assets.
He instructed the officers to conduct regular monitoring of the work being executed in their respective jurisdictions.
Rana also directed the identification of road stretches in the district requiring repairs, emphasizing the need to fill potholes and make roads safe, beautiful and accessible.(KNS)
