Srinagar, Dec 11 (KNS): The authorities have attached the Range Officer of Tangmarg/Gulmarg Range following allegations of misconduct and misbehavior with the local MLA, Farooq Shah.

An official order stated that, acting on the instructions of Javeed Ahmad Natkhan, the Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs Department, the Range Officer Grade I of Tangmarg/Gulmarg Range has been attached to the Office of the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Special Division Tangmarg.

The order, issued with the approval of the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (PCCF) and Head of Forest Force (HOFF) J&K, also directed a summary inquiry into the matter. The inquiry, to be conducted by the Conservator of Forests, has been mandated to submit its findings within two days (KNS).
