JAMMU, MARCH 23 (KNS): National Conference Additional General Secretary and former Minister Ajay Kumar Sadhotra today welcomed the constitution of a House Committee by the Speaker of the Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly Abdul Rahim Rather to examine the alleged mismanagement of the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) in the Union Territory.
Addressing one day convention of Block JIB Thathi at Chak in Udhampur district this afternoon which was organized by Sunil Verma District President Udhampur, Amarnath (Retd Principal) District President SC Cell and Qasim Mohd Teli, Sadhotra termed the decision as a step in the right direction, hoping that the committee will thoroughly investigate the irregularities and hold the wrongdoers accountable. He urged authorities to formulate an advance strategy to cope with the increasing demand and prevent any water shortages.
