“A huge number of our educated and skilled youth are jobless. With the unemployment situation getting worse, drug addiction is also on spike and administration amidst all this is going ostrich. Unless unemployed youth are not engaged in various government and semi government departments and stipend is also not paid to them, the menace of drug addiction was difficult to be controlled fully. Notwithstanding its lofty claims on providing employment to youth, the government has miserably failed to work out livelihood prospects for our unemployed brothers and sisters,” he said.
On the occasion Salman reviewed the ongoing preparations for the upcoming youth convention and passed on necessary directions to the concerned functionaries with regards to the arrangements.(KNS)
