Tangmarg, April 19 (KNS): In response to the continuous rainfall in the region, the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Gulmarg, accompanied by Tehsildar Kunzer/Tangmarg, conducted a comprehensive field visit on Friday to inspect flood-prone areas and control rooms across the sub-division.
The visit aimed to assess the preparedness of the administration to deal with any potential flood-like situation and to ensure that all necessary preventive measures are in place. The officials reviewed the functioning of drainage systems, availability of emergency supplies, and the readiness of disaster response teams.

The SDM also appealed to residents to exercise caution during heavy rainfall, stay indoors, avoid venturing into low-lying or vulnerable areas, and immediately report any incidents of waterlogging, landslides, or infrastructural damage to the nearest control room.
