Srinagar, September 21 (KNS): Director General of Police R R Swain on Saturday said that the security arrangements for the upcoming elections are thorough and comprehensive, aiming to ensure a safe environment for all participants.

According to KNS correspondent, DGP said that the security of polling booths, polling parties, rallies, candidates, and observers is a top priority. “Our security arrangements are very detailed, covering every aspect of the election process,” he added.

He further said that the security efforts involve multiple forces, including the army, CRPF, police, and SOB, to secure not only the election-related persons and places but also the surrounding areas. “Securing the area is crucial for the election process to be successful,” he added.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He said that the district police have taken exhaustive measures to ensure that all buildings and areas associated with the elections are fully secured. "We are working to create an environment in which people can freely exercise their voting rights," he said.

The DGP further said that the goal is to allow people to participate in the elections and campaigning without any fear. "We hope that people will come forward with an open heart to cast their votes and take part in this democratic process," he added.

He concluded by expressing confidence in the security measures, saying, “We are hopeful that these efforts will lead to a peaceful and successful election."(KNS)
