Srinagar, Sep 17( KNS): With the first phase of Assembly elections scheduled to begin tomorrow, the Jammu and Kashmir administration has intensified security measures in poll-bound districts to ensure a smooth and secure voting process.
The authorities have deployed additional troops, established checkpoints, and heightened surveillance in sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incidents. Strategic checkpoints have been set up to monitor movement, while CCTV cameras and drones are being used for aerial surveillance.

The districts going to polls in the first phase include Kishtwar, Ramban, Doda, Pulwama, and Shopian, Anantnag.
