Srinagar, Nov 30(KNS): Authorities in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Thursday have implemented a ban on selling fuel to two-wheelers without helmets.
The deputy commissioner issued an order directing all petrol pump owners to refuse petrol to such riders. This decision aims to address the increasing number of accidents, especially involving two-wheelers.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Also, as per the order, the petrol stations are instructed to install CCTV cameras capturing clear footage of buyers, and non-compliance with these directives will result in legal consequences under section 188 of the IPC.(KNS).
