Srinagar, Dec 08 (KNS): As part of its ongoing Civic Action Programme (CAP) to raise awareness against drug abuse and strengthen community–Police engagement, District Police Srinagar, Hazratbal Zone organised a Debate Competition at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Zadibal.
Students from Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Zadibal and Govt. Boys Higher Secondary School Soura actively participated in the event. The debate revolved around the theme "Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life”, held under the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan to encourage youth to speak against the menace of drugs and contribute towards building a healthy, drug-free society.

The officers interacted with the students and delivered insightful briefings highlighting the importance of collective responsibility in combating drug abuse. They emphasised the pivotal role of youth in furthering the mission of Nasha Mukht Bharat and urged students to stay focused on academics, personal growth, and nation-building.
A large number of students, faculty members, and staff attended the programme and shared thought-provoking views during the debate.
Senior officers appreciated the students for their impressive presentations, talent, and enthusiastic contribution to this noble cause.
