Srinagar February 24 (KNS): As part of the Civic Action Programme 2024-25, Police in Handwara successfully concluded the T20 knockout cricket tournament at Bakiahaker Cricket Ground today. The tournament, aimed at promoting sportsmanship and positive engagement among youth, witnessed enthusiastic participation from multiple teams.
The final match was played between Handwara XI and Qaziabad XI, delivering an exciting contest. Batting first, Handwara XI posted a formidable total of 205/3 in 20 overs. In response, Qaziabad XI fought hard but fell just short, scoring 199/8 in their allotted 20 overs, leading to a 6-run victory for Handwara XI.
