When approached for comments, the Assistant Executive Engineer of Tangmarg acknowledged the issue. He informed that a water supply scheme for Hardu Aboora is currently under process. "We are aware of the problem and are working on a permanent solution.

Meanwhile, we will ensure that water tankers are sent to the village to address the immediate needs of the residents until the scheme is completed," he assured.

The residents, however, remain skeptical and are demanding swift action, emphasizing the hardships they face daily due to the non-availability of clean drinking water.(KNS)
