Srinagar Jan 20 (KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Chief Spokesperson and MLA Zadibal Tanvir Sadiq, will attend the Global Crises, Local Impact: City-Led Prevention and Response in South Asia conference scheduled to be held from January 22-25, 2025, in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

 

The high-profile conference, hosted by the Strong Cities Network, will bring together city leaders, policymakers, and local government representatives from across South Asia to discuss city-driven approaches to addressing hate, extremism, social cohesion, and community well-being in multicultural urban settings.

Tanvir Sadiq will engage with regional leaders to explore strategies for addressing demographic changes and social cohesion in multicultural cities, Combating hate speech through community engagement and inclusive governance and Developing urban planning policies to promote resilience and reduce inter-community tensions.
