Jammu February 24 (KNS): CPI(M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami has expressed profound grief and shock over the passing away of Dr Bushan Lal Koul.
Koul, who originally hailed from south Kashmir’s Anantnag district, died in Mumbai on Thursday.
Koul was committed to Marxist ideology, a steadfast secularist and a long-standing comrade. He throughout his life championed the cause of excluded and exploited.
After the migration of the Kashmiri Pandits from the Valley in early nineties, Koul worked relentlessly against the forces contributing to the chasm among the communities.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
Despite all odds, he was unceasing in his efforts to uphold the pluralistic identity of the historic state of Jammu and Kashmir. He always underscored the importance of secularism, and fought for equality and social justice. Koul was an enlightened soul with deep humility.
