Baramulla, Jun 23(KNS): An unidentified terrorist was killed in an encounter that broke out between terrorists and security forces in Uri sector along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, Army said here.

An official said that the gunfight started when security forces launched a search operation in Bajrang-Uri sector following specific information about the presence of some infiltrating terrorists

"One terrorist has been killed in the ongoing anti-infiltration Operation that was launched on 22 Jun in the Uri Sector; Operations are continuing," , the Army's Chinar Corps, in a post on 'X' said.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

"Based on specific intelligence inputs, an anti infiltration Operation was launched in the Uri Sector. Contact was established with infiltrating terrorists and operations are in progress," the had said earlier.(KNS).
