Traffic restrictions announced in Bandipora ahead of Wallur Ultra Marathon

Bandipora, Oct 3 (KNS): Traffic Police Rural Kashmir has issued an advisory ahead of the Wallur Ultra Marathon-3.0, scheduled to be held in Bandipora on Sunday, officials said.

According to the advisory, vehicular movement on the route from BSF Headquarters Maddar to NHPC Pethkote and back to Chewa via Kangrichowk and Wallur Vantage Road will remain suspended from 5 am to 2 pm on October 4.

Motorists have been advised to avoid the affected route during the event and use designated alternative routes.

As per the traffic plan, Srinagar-bound traffic from Gurez, Bandipora town and Bandipora Bus Stand will be diverted through the Bandipora-Sopore road and vice versa.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Traffic travelling from Srinagar towards Bandipora and Gurez will be allowed via Narbal-Pattan-Sopore-Bandipora route.

Similarly, traffic from Ganderbal towards Bandipora will be routed through Sumbal-Naidkhai-Sopore-Bandipora and vice versa.

Traffic Police Rural Kashmir has urged commuters to plan their journeys accordingly and cooperate with the arrangements to facilitate the smooth conduct of the marathon.(KNS)
