Tral, July 7 (KNS): In a move that has left tourists and locals alike disappointed, the Wildlife Department has closed the historic Shikargah Park in Tral without any explanation.
The park, known for its natural beauty and historical significance, has been a popular spot for picnics and relaxation. However, a few days ago, a banner was placed at the gate, prohibiting entry into the park without any reason. The gate has also been locked, and many people, including school children, who come to visit the park from different areas, are being turned back.
Locals are demanding that the park be reopened and facilities be provided to visitors. "The park is a historic and ecologically sensitive area, and its closure has caused inconvenience to the people," said a local resident.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel"We demand that the department reopen the park and take steps to protect it from encroachment and pollution."

"The Wildlife Department's move is strange and unjustified," said another local resident. "On one hand, the government is promoting tourism, and on the other hand, they are closing historic parks like Shikargah. It's a loss for both tourists and locals."(KNS).
