Srinagar, September 14: (KNS): Security forces killed an unidentified militant, and two militants have suffered injuries in an ongoing encounter at Chak Tapper, Kreeri, in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday.

A senior police official confirmed to KNS that one militant was killed and two others have been injuried during the operation, but his identity of killed militant has not yet been established as the gunfight is still underway.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

The encounter began after a joint team of the police and army launched a cordon and search operation in the area on Friday.

As the security forces closed in on the suspected abandoned school militants opened fire, leading to a gunfight. The operation is continuing.(KNS)
