US-Backed Proxy Media Distorting Iran’s Reality: Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Safvi

 Budgam, Jan 13 (KNS) :

Aga Syed Hassan Mosavi Safvi, President of Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, has criticized sections of US-based proxy media for what he termed the “systematic fabrication” of the situation in Iran. He stated that these media outlets are projecting an image of “doomsday and collapse” while the ground reality in Iran remains marked by normal life, social stability, and public tranquility.

In his statement, Aga Syed Hassan said that select platforms are engaged in narrative building rather than journalism. “They deliberately magnify isolated incidents, manufacture panic, and present Iran as a nation on the brink. But the reality is different. Iranian society continues its daily life with calm, dignity, and resilience,” he remarked.

He further emphasized that Iran, like any other country, faces challenges, but the portrayal of complete disorder is misleading and politically motivated.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel“Markets are open, families are living their normal lives, and students are attending schools and universities — the social fabric is intact. This truth is rarely reflected in proxy media reports because sensationalism serves their agendas,” he added.

Aga Syed Hassan urged global media organizations to uphold ethical journalism and present a balanced picture. “The responsibility of the media is not to manufacture crises but to reflect reality. It must show the true face of society — its problems as well as its peace. Silence about calmness and exaggeration of unrest is not journalism; it is distortion,” he said.

He reiterated that Iran is not the “theatre of doomsday” it is portrayed to be. “Iran stands firm, peaceful, and socially vibrant. The international community deserves truthful reporting, not engineered narratives,” he added. (KNS)
