Srinagar, Aug 25 (KNS): Former Minister Usman Majid announced on Sunday that he will contest the upcoming Assembly elections independently from Bandipora.
Majid, who recently parted ways with the Apni Party, told reporters in Bandipora that he decided to run as an independent due to a lack of trust in political alliances. Majid, a two-time MLA from Bandipora, resigned from the Congress in 2020 to join the Apni Party. He also announced that he will soon release his manifesto for the Assembly elections, outlining his vision and goals for the constituency.(KNS).
