Rafiabad Feb 7 (KNS): Senior Vice President J&K Peoples Conference and Former Minister Abdul Gani Vakil today visited several villages of Rafiabad and Sopore including Tujjar Sharief, Nethipora, Dukbal, Zallora, Bumai and Arampora Sopore. While touring the area Vakil expressed concern over power crisis, scarcity of drinking water and dilapidated condition of roads in the area especially Tujjar Sharief Nathipora road and Nathipora Dukbal road and said that the U.T Govt. has failed to address the problems of the people in the said area as the people are craving for development.
Vakil said condition of these roads is such that people are unable to walk by foot and using a vehicle to travel on these roads is out of question which has made the life of people miserable.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel What is shocking that the back to village program of five phases is totally missing in the said area.
Vakil urged the LG. UT of J&K Manoj Sinha to direct the concerned departments especially R&B, Health and PDD to set the system right in the area and demanded the macdamisation of said roads, regular power supply and drinking water without any delay as the poor people are suffering due to lack of basic needs and facilities.(KNS)
