Valedictory Function Held for Beekeeping Batch at Rural Self Employment Training Institute

Bandipora, Jan 20 (KNS): The Rural Self Employment Training Institute (RSETI) organized a valedictory function for the recently concluded Beekeeping Batch, aimed at empowering rural youth with self-employment skills. The event was graced by Chief Agricultural Officer (CAO) Javid Iqbal as the chief guest, who delivered an inspiring address to the participants.

In his speech, Iqbal emphasized the importance of self-reliance and entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied sectors. He encouraged the participants to start their own ventures, utilizing the skills acquired during the training. He also outlined various government schemes and initiatives available to support aspiring entrepreneurs in agriculture, assuring the participants of full assistance and guidance from the department.

The CAO further assured the participants that they would be given preference in availing benefits under various schemes, reinforcing the government's commitment to fostering rural entrepreneurship.

The participants expressed their gratitude for the training and the valuable insights shared during the program. Many shared their plans to establish their own beekeeping units, inspired by the knowledge and support extended by RSETI and the Agriculture Department.

The function concluded with a pledge by the participants to utilize their training effectively and contribute to the development of their communities.

RSETI Director Mehraj ud Din Rather also briefed the participants about handholding and credit facilities. (KNS)
