Vitasta Law College Students Conduct Legal Literacy Program in Dhara Harwan and Faqir Gujri

Srinagar, July 13 (KNS): In a commendable effort to spread legal awareness and address local issues, final-year law students from Vitasta Law College, including social activist Jehanzeb Allaqaband, visited the rural areas of Dhara Harwan and Faqir Gujri. This visit was part of a legal literacy program organized by the college.

The students, including Jehanzeb Allaqaband, Fakhar Ul Zaman, Raisa Riyaz, Tehzeeb Mushtaq, Madina Azad, and Ashiyana Bilal, conducted a door-to-door campaign to educate the residents about various government schemes and collect feedback on the issues they face. The initiative aimed to bridge the gap between the government policies and the rural populace, ensuring that the benefits of these schemes reach the grassroots level.

Jehanzeb Allaqaband, along with his classmates, assured the community members that their concerns would be taken seriously. They pledged to reach out to the relevant authorities and work towards resolving these issues, ensuring better healthcare facilities for the area.
