Karnah, Sep 24 (KNS): A grand event was organized by the Department of Education in Teetwal under the SVEEP (Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation) program. Teachers, students, and local residents actively participated in the event, aimed at raising awareness about the importance of voting and welcoming new voters.
A highlight of the event was the awareness rally, in which schoolchildren enthusiastically participated, expressing their loyalty and solidarity with the nation. During the rally, students waved the national flag, emphasizing the unity of the country and the significance of democracy.
The Chief Education Officer Kupwara was the chief guest at the event. In his address, he encouraged the youth and new voters to take part in the democratic process. The event was organized under the supervision of Nodal Officer and Zonal Education Officer Karnah, Shah Mohammad, who congratulated the new voters during the event. He emphasized the importance of voting and the responsibility that comes with it. Shah Mohammad remarked that new voters are the future of democracy, and their vote plays a critical role in the nation’s development.
Various activities, including speeches by students, patriotic songs, and other cultural programs, were held during the event. These activities were aimed at fostering a sense of patriotism among the students and educating them on the value of the democratic process.
