Power crisis has exposed the tall claims of UT administration

Sopore October 18 (KNS): Senior Vice President of J&K Peoples Confrence and former minister Mr Abdul Gani Vakil expressed concern and anguish over power crisis in the Valley . Vakil said that it is surprising that it is in the beginning of the winter season, the power crisis has started and asked what would be the the position of power when full winter season begins.It is in the beginning of winter that the people have been forced to go without electricity for days together both in the metered and unmetered areas. The power crisis is so worst that people are rendered helpless in the absense of electricity and  thereby the present power crisis has exposed the tall claims of UT administration of enhancing energy supply. While touring different villages of Rafiabad & Sopore and addressing workers meetings at Warpora , Mograypora , Gonipora , Marazigund & Doabgah.

Vakil Said that Present Government is existing  on statements and meetings only and has failed on all fronts .Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelHe maintained that unscheduled power cuts have aggravated woes of people in the valley  and Despite a load-shedding schedule, unscheduled and frequent power cuts continue unabated and people are facing massive inconvenience due to power cuts.
There is no schedule for power which is causing lot of inconvenience to general public especially the old and ailing as well as students who are appearing in examination, Vakil added.

?Vakil exhorted the UT government not to be silent spectator on this sensitive issue but take immediate steps for implementing its own schedule in letter and spirits and to make all preparations and arrangements for supplying power to the people of the valley in coming full winter season and to make all efforts to provide sufficient electricity to the people of the valley.(KNS)
