Srinagar, December 01 (KNS) : A program on World AIDS Day was conducted today, at the auditorium of Government Medical College Srinagar which was organised by the Department of Community Medicine, Government Medical College Srinagar in collaboration with JK AIDS Control Society.

Speaking on the occasion, Assistant director, JK AIDS Control Society, Imtiyaz Khan, gave a scenario of HIV/AIDS in J&K and efforts made by JKACS in this direction.
On the occasion, a health education skit and poster competition was conducted among medical students of GMC Srinagar.
Certificates and mementoes were distributed amongst the participants and winners of poster competition and skit performers.(KNS)
