Srinagar, March 17 (KNS): The Youth Hostels Association of India (YHAI) Women's Wing Adhoc Unit and YHAI Srinagar Unit 2nd jointly organized a special felicitation ceremony at the YHAI office in Srinagar to honor eminent personalities and discuss future collaborative initiatives for youth development.
Mr. Shaunak Ray, Municipal Youth Officer, Department of Youth Services & Sports, Government of West Bengal, In-Charge of Asansol Youth Hostel, and Life Member of YHAI, was felicitated by YHAI Women's Wing Adhoc Unit and YHAI Srinagar Unit 2nd for his commendable contribution to the promotion of youth welfare and hostel activities.
The program was conducted under the Chairmanship of Mr. Showkat Ashai, State Convenor, YHAI Jammu & Kashmir, who was also felicitated on behalf of YHAI West Bengal State Branch by Mr. Shaunak Ray, acknowledging his pivotal role in strengthening YHAI’s mission in the region.

During the address, Mr. Shaunak Ray emphasized the importance of such exchange programs in nation-building and youth empowerment, while Mr. Showkat Ashai highlighted the role of YHAI in bridging cultures and creating opportunities for young people through adventure, travel, and cultural initiatives.
