Zuljana Sharief Procession: Traffic Advisory Issued for Srinagar-Gulmarg Road

Baramulla, July 26 (KNS): In view of the religious procession of Zuljana Sharief scheduled on 2nd Saffar (27th July 2025), the Senior Superintendent of Police, Traffic Rural Kashmir, has issued a comprehensive traffic advisory for the Magam area to ensure the smooth conduct and avoid inconvenience to the general public.

The procession will move from Aza-Khana Hazrat Zahra, Dangarpora Magam, to Markazi Imam Bargah, Yagipora Magam. Due to the expected congestion along the Srinagar-Gulmarg Road, traffic movement in the Magam area shall remain affected during the day.

The advisory states that in order to regulate traffic, diversions will be in place, and commuters are advised to plan their travel accordingly. The details of the traffic diversions are as follows:

?? Beerwah-bound traffic from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama Chowk via Batapora → Roshanabad → SK Pora → Radbugh → Beerwah.

?? Gulmarg-Tangmarg-Kunzar-bound traffic from Narbal shall be diverted at Kanihama Chowk via Nooripora → Archindrahama → Gund Khwaja Qasim → Kogamdara → Nowlari → Lalpora → Magloora.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

?? Srinagar-bound heavy vehicles from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Magloora via Lalpora → Mamoosa → Shirpora → Zaingam → NHW.

?? Srinagar-bound light vehicles from Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichloora via Kralpora Magam → Ahmadpora → Kongamdara → Singhpora → NHW. (Only one-way traffic will be allowed on this route).

?? Beerwah-bound traffic from Tangmarg-Kunzar shall be diverted at Chichloora via Goigam → Budran → Beerwah.

?? Srinagar-bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Watamagam Crossing via Watamagam → Pathi Kanihama → Batapora → Bon Kanihama. (One-way traffic only from Watamagam to Batapora Chowk).

?? Tangmarg-Gulmarg-Kunzar-bound traffic from Beerwah shall be diverted at Budran Crossing via Budran → Goigam → Chichloora.

The Traffic Police has requested the public to avoid unnecessary travel on the said routes and cooperate with the authorities for the smooth passage of the religious procession. (KNS)
