Srinagar, Mar 03 (KNS): National Conference (NC) on Friday condemned the killing of a civilian Mohammad Ayub of Gasoo, Pulwama who lost his life in a grenade explosion in Murran Chowk, Pulwama and also expressed grief over injuries sustained in the explosion by paramilitary forces.
Expressing profound grief and sorrow over the loss of an innocent life, National Conference State Spokesperson Junaid Azim Mattu in a statement issued to KNS, extended heartfelt condolences to his family on behalf of the party.
“Another young son of this soil has perished in another incident of senseless violence. Violence has consumed an entire generation in the Valley and has given us nothing but graveyards, misery and darkness. Violence in any shape, form or measure is both unjustified and unjustifiable and cannot be a means to achieve any noble goal. We condemn this and all such incidents of violence and reiterate our commitment to work towards resolving the political issue in Jammu and Kashmir and creating an atmosphere of peace, justice and tranquillity”, the NC Spokesperson said in a statement issued from Party Headquarters in Srinagar.
The NC Spokesperson also expressed concern about the condition of another civilian and those paramilitary soldiers who had suffered injuries in the blast and prayed for their quick and complete recovery. (KNS)
