Srinagar, Oct 17 (KNS): The National Conference (NC) has asked the Congress to nominate a candidate for the Nagrota Assembly constituency, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said on Friday, adding that his party will back the Congress nominee if the move is confirmed.
Omar told reporters that while the NC will contest the Budgam seat, Nagrota has been allocated to the Congress as part of coordination between the coalition partners.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
He said Congress leaders are expected to consult their high command before finalizing the candidate. “If they field a candidate, National Conference will provide full support,” he added.(KNS).
