Srinagar January 25 (KNS): The 15th National Voters' Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and fervor at Amar Singh College, Srinagar today. The event was presided over by Mr. Suhail ul Islam, JKAS, Secretary, SMC, and Electoral Registration Officer (ERO) of 23-Channapora Assembly Constituency. The celebration aimed to raise awareness about the significance of voting and the role of the youth in strengthening democracy.

The distinguished guests included Mr. Kifayat Ali, Tehsildar Channapora, and Mr. Aabid Gani, Tehsildar, Recovery, Srinagar, who were invited as Guests of Honour. During the event, new voters were handed over their Electoral Photo Identity Cards (EPIC), marking a significant step towards their participation in the democratic process.
