Srinagar, Nov 11(KNS): The Jammu and Kashmir Awami Action Committee (AAC) has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of the wife of Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah of Narwara, a longtime member of the organisation and a well-wisher of the Mirwaiz family.
The AAC in a statement expressed condolence with Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah and other bereaved family members and made a special prayer for the elevation of the ranks in Jannah for the departed soul.
The organisation also expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Altaf Ahmed Wali, a resident of Hawal.
On the direction of AAC chairman Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir Dr Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, a delegation of the organisation visited both bereaved families and expressed condolence and solidarity with Ghulam Mohiuddin Shah and his brother Meraj-ud-Din Shah; and with the bereaved Wali family of Hawal.

The delegation prayed for Jannat-ul-Firdous to the departed souls and forbearance to the bereaved family members.
Meanwhile, AAC on behalf of Mirwaiz Kashmir Molvi Umar Farooq expressed deep sorrow over the burning of five houseboats in Dalgate and expressed his solidarity with the houseboat owners and their families for their loss.(KNS).
