Anantnag, Sep 24 (KNS): District Development Commissioner Anantnag, Dr Bilal Mohiuddin Bhat, on Thursday visited Dooru subdivision and inspected various public institutions, establishments and development projects to review their functioning, infrastructure and delivery of public services.

During the visit, the DDC inspected the under-construction SDM Office at Dooru and reviewed the progress of the ongoing work. He directed the concerned officers to ensure timely completion of the project while adhering to the prescribed quality standards.

Officers of the executing agencies briefed him on the physical and financial progress achieved on the project so far.

The DDC also visited Sub-District (Model) Hospital Dooru and took stock of the healthcare facilities available to the public. He reviewed the availability of essential medical services and infrastructure and interacted with the concerned officers to ascertain issues, if any, affecting the delivery of critical healthcare services.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

He inspected different sections of the hospital and asked the staff to ensure smooth and quality services to patients visiting the institution.

Interacting with patients and their attendants, Dr Bhat enquired about the quality of healthcare services and directed the hospital staff to ensure that all available facilities were provided to them in the best possible manner.

Concluding the visit, the DDC directed the concerned officers to ensure timely resolution of public issues and an effective response to citizens' grievances. He stressed the need for coordinated efforts among all departments to improve public facilities and ensure satisfactory delivery of services to the general public.

The DDC was accompanied by CEO VDA, SDM Dooru, Tehsildar, BMO, AEE R&B and other concerned officers.(KNS)
