ADGP Armed Inaugurates Strategic Road, Barracks for Jawans in Doda

 DODA, JANUARY 31 (KNS): In a significant boost to the operational infrastructure for security forces in the Chenab region, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) Armed Jammu and Kashmir, Anand Jain, on Wednesday inaugurated a crucial macadamized road and new barracks at Beoli in Doda district.

The key infrastructure project, aimed at bolstering the logistical and living standards for personnel, was inaugurated by the ADGP alongside Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh.
 
The newly blacktopped road connects the Doda-Beoli Road directly to the IRP (Indian Reserve Police) Headquarters at Beoli, a move set to enhance connectivity and facilitate swift movement of troops and resources in the area.
 
The inauguration event saw the presence of senior officers including Dr. Vinod Kumar, DIG IRP Range Jammu; Ifroz Ahmed, Commanding Officer of IRP 5th Battalion; and Senior Superintendent of Police, Sandeep Kumar Mehta.
 
Following the inauguration, ADGP Jain, accompanied by the Deputy Commissioner, conducted a thorough inspection of the road and expressed satisfaction with the quality of construction.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelOfficials stated the project will provide robust infrastructure support to the IRP units stationed in the area.
 
In a parallel development focused on troop welfare, ADGP Jain also inaugurated a newly constructed Jawans’ Barrack at the same location. The state-of-the-art facility is designed to offer improved accommodation and better living conditions for the personnel deployed there.
 
During his interaction with officers and jawans, ADGP Anand Jain underscored the critical role of strong infrastructure in boosting the operational efficiency and morale of the armed police force in the region.
 
The dual initiatives mark a continued focus on strengthening both the operational capabilities and the welfare infrastructure for security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. (KNS)
