Bandipora Oct 07 (KNS): Faiz-e-Aam Secondary School, Bandipora, on Wednesday organised its Annual Day celebration along with a Dastar-bandi ceremony to honour seven students who have successfully completed the memorisation of the Holy Quran alongside their regular academic education.
The programme was held at the school’s main campus and was attended by renowned Islamic scholar Molvi Rahmatullah Qasmi, who performed the Dastar-bandi of the seven Hufaz-e-Kiram.
According to the school authorities, it was the first Dastar-bandi ceremony in the history of Faiz-e-Aam Secondary School, marking a significant occasion for the institution and the students.
The ceremony was organised to honour the students who completed Hifz of the Holy Quran while continuing their regular schooling, reflecting the school’s emphasis on both academic and religious education.

Speaking on the occasion, the school management appreciated the efforts and dedication of the seven students, their parents and teachers, and said the Dastar-bandi ceremony was aimed at recognising their achievement and encouraging other students to pursue education along with the memorisation and understanding of the Holy Quran.
The Annual Day programme also featured various activities and presentations by students, showcasing their academic progress, talents and achievements during the year.
