Srinagar, Dec 16 (KNS):In a passionate appeal in the Lok Sabha on Monday, National Conference Member of Parliament Aga Syed Ruhullah Mehdi urged the central government to provide a one-time age relaxation for candidates seeking posts in the Jammu and Kashmir Police Sub-Inspector (JKPSI) recruitment.
Mehdi highlighted that thousands of aspirants have been rendered ineligible due to exceeding the upper age limit, a consequence of prolonged delays in the recruitment process. He pointed out that these delays have deprived many qualified individuals of their opportunity to serve in the police force, despite their dedication and readiness.
