BJP holds national workshop on sectoral outreach; J&K leaders participate

New Delhi, September 20 (KNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party on Sunday held a Cell-Cluster National Workshop at its central office in New Delhi, focusing on strengthening engagement with industry, trade, tourism, healthcare and other professional sectors.

BJP national president Nitin Nabin and national general secretary (Organisation) BL Santhosh chaired the workshop, which was attended by representatives of various organisational platforms.

From Jammu and Kashmir, Ved Sharma, Bilal Parray and Manish Khajuria participated in the deliberations.

The workshop discussed ways to strengthen coordination with industries, traders, tourism stakeholders, healthcare professionals, cooperatives, sports bodies, urban local bodies, panchayats and other professional groups.

A key focus of the deliberations was on Central Sector Schemes and other flagship initiatives of the Union Government, with emphasis on ensuring that their benefits reach the intended beneficiaries.

Issues related to commerce and industry, trade, tourism, healthcare and medical services, cooperative institutions, sports and local governance also figured in the discussions.

The workshop provided representatives from different states and organisational units an opportunity to exchange experiences and discuss ways to improve the functioning of sector-specific platforms.

The session was coordinated by All Cells National Coordinator Vishnu Datt Sharma, Joint Coordinator Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.

The workshop concluded with discussions on wider sectoral outreach, organisational coordination and sustained engagement with different sections of society. (KNS)
