Amit Shah: Article 370 "Closed Chapter", NC-Congress Alliance Won't Succeed

Kishtwar, Sept 16 (KNS): Union Home Minister Amit Shah declared on Monday that Article 370 is a "closed chapter" and cannot be restored, contrary to the claims of the National Conference (NC) and Congress.

Addressing a mega rally in Paddar Nagseni, according to KNS correspondent, Shah emphasized that the provision has become a part of history and has no place in the Indian Constitution.

Shah questioned the NC and Congress's promise to reinstate Article 370, asking, "Should Article 370 be back? The reservation which the Pahadis and Gurjar brothers get, would not be possible if Article 370 is restored."

He asserted that neither Farooq Abdullah nor Rahul Gandhi will form the government in J&K, stating, "I have been observing the environment in Kashmir; neither Farooq Abdullah nor Rahul Gandhi is forming the government here," he said according to KNS correspondent.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel

Shah reiterated that there can never be two prime ministers, two constitutions, and two flags in Kashmir, emphasizing that the Tricolour is the sole flag for the region.
"Article 370 is now a part of history. There is no place for Article 370 in the Constitution of India. There can never be two prime ministers, two constitutions, and two flags in Kashmir. There will only be one flag, and that is our Tricolour." (KNS).
