Srinagar January 28 (KNS): The Anjuman Auqaf Jama Masjid in collaboration with Mirwaiz Foundation launched the annual Hijri calendar for the year 1445-46 AH (2024 CE) at the historic Central Jama Masjid, Srinagar. This year's calendar is curated from a selection of some of the finest representations of Islamic architecture and design in Kashmir.
Kashmir has been at the centre of cross cultural movements across time best illustrated through its rich eclectic architectural tradition The calender showcases specimens depicting this cross cultural synthesis in khanaqahs, masajid, madrassas, tombs and eidgahs
