Army Observes National Youth Day with Youth Engagement Programme in Gurez

 GUREZ, JANUARY 12 (KNS) : The Indian Army's Rana Battalion marked National Youth Day with a special awareness and interaction programme at the Line of Control (LoC) in Bagtore, Gurez sector on Monday. 

 
In a statement issued to News Agency Kashmir News Service (KNS) Army said, the event emphasised the pivotal role of the younger generation in fostering national progress and social responsibility.
 
Approximately 60 students from local communities participated actively in the programme, which was designed to inspire youth, inculcate positive values, and encourage constructive societal contribution.
 
Senior Army officers engaged with the attendees, delivering talks on the core values of discipline, the paramount importance of education, self-confidence, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelA dedicated session informed the youth about the significance of National Youth Day, observed on the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, whose philosophical ideals continue to inspire the nation.
 
Participants expressed their appreciation for the initiative, acknowledging the Army’s efforts to connect with border-area youth through substantive engagements.
 
The event ended with a reaffirmation of the themes of unity, peace, and youth empowerment, recognising young citizens as essential stakeholders in shaping the nation's future trajectory. (KNS)
