Patients requiring dialysis are compelled to travel to Srinagar or other towns, facing significant financial and health challenges.

Patients often need dialysis two to three times a week, and the absence of a local facility exacerbates their hardships. "Traveling to Srinagar for dialysis not only impacts our health but also imposes financial strain due to transportation and accommodation costs," said a local patient.
