Srinagar, May 30  (KNS): Awami National Conference President Begum Khalida Shah and Senior Vice President Muzzafar Shah today vehemently condemned the horrific killings of Palestinian civilians in Rafah, Gaza by Israeli forces.

They said the indiscriminate shelling and airstrikes on residential areas that killed over 100 innocent men, women and children is an unconscionable act of state terror and a grave violation of international law.

"India has always supported the cause of Palestinians and unequivocally condemned violence against innocent men, women and children. I am hopeful our government will stay committed to our historic stand," he said.

They demanded an immediate cessation of hostilities and called for the lifting of the crippling blockade on Gaza to allow access to essential supplies and humanitarian aid. (KNS)
