Srinagar, Aug 20(KNS): The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed Ram Madhav, a former general secretary, and Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy as election in-charges for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir assembly polls.

Madhav previously played a crucial role in forming the PDP-BJP government in Jammu and Kashmir in 2015.

He was instrumental in crafting the common minimum programme for the power-sharing arrangement between the PDP and BJP in the erstwhile state.(KNS).
