Kathua, March 8 (KNS): The bodies of three missing individuals, including a child, were discovered in the upper hills of Billiwar, Kathua, on Saturday.
According to reports trio had gone missing on the evening of March 6. The group, which included two adults and one child from Lohai Malhar in Billiwar, had left their home around 8:30 pm to attend a wedding ceremony in the area.
After an intensive search lasting approximately 60 hours, their bodies were located in a water channel in the higher reaches using drones.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelThe deceased were identified as Jogesh Singh (35) from Marhoon village, Darshan Singh (40) from Dehota village, and 14-year-old Baroon Singh from Dehota, all of Billawar Tehsil.
While the police have ruled out any terrorist involvement, an investigation into the incident is underway. (KNS)
