Karnah Kupwara (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah visited the Pakistani shelling-affected areas in Karnah today, meeting with families impacted by the cross-border tensions. His visit brought a sense of hope to the victims as he assured immediate relief and announced swift rehabilitation for the damaged properties.

In a significant development boost, the CM also reviewed the 12 MW Hydroelectric Power Project, which is expected to enhance power supply in the region. Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara conducted a damage assessment of the affected areas and will submit a detailed report to the CM's office. Speaking to the media, the DC stated, "We are providing relief and setting up bunkers in the border areas. While there is significant property damage, we are grateful that there was no loss of life.
