Bandipora, Sept 17 (KNS): In a step towards strengthening community policing and fostering better police-public relations, the Bandipora Police today organised an interactive session with the students of Higher Secondary School Kaloosa at Police Station Bandipora.
During the visit, the students were given a detailed orientation about the functioning of the Police Station, various law & order responsibilities, and the traffic management duties performed by police personnel. The initiative was aimed at creating awareness among youth about the pivotal role of police in maintaining law & order and promoting road safety. Such outreach programs are expected to instill confidence, bridge the gap between police and public, and encourage the younger generation to play a constructive role in society.
Bandipora Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness programs in the future to build trust, responsibility, and cooperation with the community, especially the youth.
