Congress delegation meets nomad families,demands justice, compensation to them

Srinagar April 13 (KNS): On the directions of J&K Pradesh Congress Committee(JKPCC) President Tariq Hameed Karra a delegation of Senior Congress leaders and district Presidents today visited nomad victim families at Qazigund  in Kulgam district and expressed their solidarity and  condolences with them.

Led by Senior Congress Leader Abdul Gani Khan Congress delegation comprising Dr.Waleed Karra DCC Presidents of Kulgam and Anantnag Abdul Rashid Lone,  Zaffar Farooq Salati and others visited Qazigund where they met the nomad families, who  have lost their families members under mysterious circumstances.
 
The delegation spent some time with the  families and expressed their sympathies and condolences with them.
The delegation expressed grave concern over the loss of their family members, terming it as shocking & very unfortunate.Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp ChannelSuch incidents attributes to fear psychosis to the public and make them feel  insecure, which is absolutely disappointing and needs to be addressed, delegation added and emphasized that there should be a timebound investigation to ascertain whether these were killings or natural deaths.
The delegation demanded that the administration must provide compensation to widows of the deceased and ensure justice to them.
 
Congress delegation also conveyed condolences to bereaved families on behalf of JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra, assuring them  that the Congress Party  stands behind them and will put in strenuous efforts to ensure justice to them.(KNS)
