Bandipora, Jan 8(KNS): In a significant advancement for secondary-level healthcare in North Kashmir, District Hospital Bandipora has successfully performed its first-ever MIPH (Minimally Invasive Procedure for Haemorrhoids), also known as Stapled Haemorrhoidectomy, marking a major milestone in the hospital’s surgical capabilities.
The advanced procedure was performed by Dr. Bashir, Consultant Surgeon, with anesthetic support provided by Dr. Mohammad Fateh Iqbal Khan, Consultant Anesthetist, and the dedicated Operation Theatre staff. The entire procedure was conducted under the direct supervision of Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad Malla, reflecting a coordinated and skilled team effort.
