Sarinagar Feb 16 (KNS): More than a dozen residential structures and a mosque have developed cracks in Doda village of Jammu and Kashmir, compelling residents to seek refuge in temporary shelters.
Deputy Commissioner Doda, Harvinder Singh, assured support to the affected families, providing tents and monitoring the situation closely.

The district magistrate pledged to address compensation concerns with NHIDCL in upcoming meetings.
Residents expressed distress over the lack of assistance and safety concerns, saying that their vulnerability to wildlife threats while living in temporary shelters.
They call for prompt and adequate rehabilitation measures.
