Bandipora, Sep 26 (KNS): The former chief minister Omar Abdullah in Bandipora on Thursday targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party for trying to damage the NC vote bank in Kashmir and by supporting AIP and other candidates
Speaking with the media on the sidelines of a workers convention in Ajas Bandipora Omar alleged BJP for distributing vote banks in Kashmir valley by supporting independent candidates and AIP who will accept the Aug 2019 decision in the assembly.
"Engineer Rasheed who after release said he will fight against Modi's Naya Kashmir slogan has given a mandate to people who were tagged by BJP in the last elections. Giving mandate to him was in the direction of BJP,".
He added, "Ram Madhav the national general secretary of Bharatiya Janata Party has been in the valley for the last one month even though they have only a few candidates in Kashmir they are trying to damage the NC vote bank in which they will not,".Click Here To Follow Our WhatsApp Channel
"Center responsible for low turnout in the second phase, the response was gone to whole from Foreign delegates who visited Kashmir yesterday and were represented by the diplomat for the promotion for tourism," he further said. "From the statement of Home Minister Amit Shah, it looks like they know what will be the output from EVMs, otherwise how can he say with such confidence that NJP will secure more than 50 seats in J&K,".
The workers' convention was attended by thousands of workers including alliance candidate Bandipora constituency and Hilal Akbar lone candidate for the Sonawari constituency. (KNS)
